"My love of the blues began in a smoke filled room known as the Paramount theater in Seattle Washington. The year was 1969, the band was the Allman Brothers. As I sat in that smoky room and felt the power of the guitar driven blues, a seed was planted that would grow for the rest of my life.”
Dave has played in many different bands through the years, including Frye, The Knowntones, The Mescals, and The Shirkers. "I've also played with some great local talent and would like to thank, Steve Stusser, Donny Parker, Joe Skewis, Dan Seese and Mark Oslund." Dave has come home to the blues and found his true musical passion. “The blues is the human experience in musical form, and just like in life, you have to be ready to improvise and roll with the changes.”
Dave's other interests include being a Grandparent and riding his 2003 Roadking Classic. |
